Questions by a complete noob.

1) Am I over thinking it by writing a script and having a few(5) characters and a beginning-middle and end. It's my first movie attempt and am excited to do it but am I going overboard? The other videos submitted are good, but seem a bit more"laid back".

2) Does it have to actually involve a "science fair"-like when you were in school? Or is that term being used loosely and something snappy to call the contest. Am I putting myself in a box creatively trying to conform with this theme?
