For the flowers we love, the plants we eat and the HoneyBEES we need, support an organic lifestyle inside and outside your home and body!

Purify indoor air quality with living plants, which in return creates oxygen for everyone around computers, printers, faxes.
Place a peace plant in your office and breathe deeply!

Organic Land Care is my specialty, focusing on exterior decorating, designing with our future in mind.

Being a Naturalist I am aware of what nature is going through. As a HoneyBEE keeper I feel that human impact is making it uncomfortable for our most aggressive pollinators to survive.
With toxins in the air, water & soil it is compromising their immune system so much they are not able to fight off their own natural pests, like mites. Honeybees have been here for 65 million years. They arrived when plants did and both have traveled through time together.
Currently we are experiencing CCD, Colony Collapse Disorder, where Honeybees are not returning to their hives. When they go out to pollinate if they feel "sick" due to toxins on the lawn, etc., they have a natural response to not go home and corrupt the whole hive, so they go off a die instead. Throughout the past 2 years we have lost over half the population of Honeybees on the planet. Please do your own research. If Honeybees do not survive, plants will not survive, and we humans will not survive. We are in red alert.
Please be non-toxic inside & outside of your home & body. This is what we can do every given day to help keep our most aggressive natural pollinators more comfortable here on Earth.
Feel free to contact me @ littlefieldlandscapes@gmail.com to discuss this further.
I wish to spread the truth of our time about Honeybees and GMO's (which are foods with no nutritional value, depleting Honeybees & humans). Malnutrition also depletes immune systems.
Thank you for doing your own research on The Mysterious Disappearance of Honeybees, and CCD, The Colony Collapse Disorder.
There are still some Honeybees around, so I am hopeful we humans will do the right things in order for all living beings to survive here on this planet - plants, animals & humans are all equals in this particular case. We need to keep our HoneyBees alive.

I would have to say, Art, Music and walking through the countryside.
i want to become a architect and I'm very interested in the eco-friendly approach
hence why this project is such a big draw to me, i love what they are doing with it.
all buildings should be designed to flow with nature, but so few really get it right.

Then you are definitely someone I would like to know! I'm trying to learn more about nutrition and take better care of myself. So any advice you got, I'm happy to hear it! I'm vegetarian, but not vegan. Though I'd like to be.

Food Perfect is a fun show. It's 3 groups of us, one group of little kids and two groups of adults. And we go to different restaurants in search of the perfect food of the week. The pilot episode was perfect pizza. We go to different restaurants and do a review. There really is no such thing as perfect anything, as it is all a matter of opinion. Which is what is cool about this show, because we all have different tastes and preferences. So we discuss what makes food perfect to us! :o)

O.K. Laura,
I will work the issue into my conversation with those people who may have inside knowledge and report back to you. Information is everything. Communication is what is needed and how appropriate that so many of us on the Hollywood East site have an interest in Communication Arts.
Today I joined Channel 17 in South Yarmouth and may be looking for a topic for a show. This could be one. I'm a firm believer in good people, great formats and intelligent planning .. and other strategies to ensuring the best possible outcomes in Producing - whether its a home or a TV show!
As far as the news. The Bee issue was on the news a couple years ago. Because it is not talked about in the News now is either because the issue went away, or the fascination went away. Corporate News is about sensationalism - with just a wee hint of social responsibility mixed in. Isn't it annoying when they self-promote during the day, saying things like "something big is headed our way that will destroy the universe at any moment ... tune in at 11:00!" ..?
I'm sure Scientists are working on it. We'll find out how that is going. I know my friend in D.C. says scientists don't initiate projects so much as get assigned projects initiated by the government. Its a matter of budgets... and of course the common good.
As far as architecture - there are a few buildings on the Cape that I designed - mostly houses. But as the firms I work for took on larger, commercial projects, I was part of team. I was doing Interiors and Renderings mostly, at the end of our last major retail project. I worked for architects, but am not a licensed architect. I know residential construction, especially on the Cape. I tried it in California, but they weren't doing custom housing as much as mix-n-match assembly housing. If I started in the '70s, it would have been easier to become an architect. But now its more difficult - though, my last employer had me help him train for an exam.
I use to show my design and photgraphy work on this site, but it looked too much like self-promotion.

P.S. One of my real life friends works with IFAW and another is a Biologist for the Smithsonian in D.C. - And my older brother is the Director of the Department of Public Health in Barnstable. So, we all need to pay attention to the Bee issue and it would be disasterous if these agancies weren't working together on it.
